Service & Scheduling
Not sure if you need a repair, a tune up, or something bigger? Here are a few common questions we get. If you want more detail, you can view the full FAQ page.
How do I schedule service?
Call us and tell us what your system is doing and what city you’re in. We’ll set up a time for a visit and ask a couple quick questions so we show up prepared. If you have an error code or a new noise or smell, mention that too.
What areas do you serve?
We’re based in Monterey Park and serve cities across Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County. If you’re not sure whether you’re in our service area, call and we’ll confirm. We work with both homes and businesses throughout our coverage area.
Do you service both homes and businesses?
Yes. We provide residential and commercial HVAC service for common home systems and larger setups in offices, retail spaces, and other buildings. If you have a property with multiple units, we can help with that too.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency service?
Yes. If you have an urgent heating or cooling problem that can’t wait, you can call anytime, day or night. This is best for situations like no cooling or no heat during extreme weather, or a system that shuts down completely.
How soon can you come out?
It depends on the day and current schedule, but we’ll tell you the next available opening when you call. If it’s urgent, let us know what’s going on and we’ll try to fit you in sooner. If it’s not urgent, we’ll schedule the soonest time that works for you.
Why is my AC blowing warm air?
This can happen when the thermostat is set wrong, the filter is clogged, the outdoor unit has an issue, or the system is low on refrigerant. We test the system and pinpoint the cause before making a repair.
Why is airflow weak from the vents?
Weak airflow is often caused by a dirty filter, a blower issue, blocked vents, or duct problems. A checkup helps us find where the airflow is being restricted.
Why does my system keep turning on and off?
This is called short cycling. It can be caused by a thermostat issue, dirty components, airflow problems, or an internal part starting to fail. It’s worth checking early because it can strain the system.
Why are some rooms hotter or colder than others?
Uneven temperatures can come from airflow imbalance, duct leaks, insulation issues, or a system that isn’t sized or set up well for the space. We look at airflow, duct condition, and how the system is running.
What do strange noises or smells usually mean?
New sounds or odors can point to loose parts, a motor issue, airflow problems, electrical trouble, or dust burning off. If it’s a strong burning smell, shut the system off and call for service.

Repair vs Replacement
Not sure if you need a repair, a tune up, or something bigger? Here are a few common questions we get. If you want more detail, you can view the full FAQ page.
How do I know if I need a repair or a replacement?
Most of the time, a repair is the first step. If the system keeps breaking down, the repair is very expensive, or the unit is near the end of its life, a replacement may make more sense. After we inspect and test the system, we’ll explain your options so you can choose what fits.
How long does a typical repair take?
Many repairs can be handled in one visit, but the time depends on what’s wrong and what testing is needed. We’ll let you know what to expect once we see the system.
How long does a replacement usually take?
Most replacements are completed in a day, though some jobs take longer depending on the system type, access, and whether ductwork or other updates are needed. We’ll walk you through the timeline before the work starts.
What does a tune up include?
A tune up is a full system check to catch problems early and help it run better. We inspect key parts, test operation, check airflow and temperature performance, and replace the filter if needed or requested.
How often should I get maintenance?
Most systems do best with seasonal maintenance, usually once before heavy cooling season and once before heavy heating season. If your system runs a lot or is older, it may benefit from more frequent checkups.
Will maintenance help prevent breakdowns?
Yes. Maintenance helps spot worn parts, airflow problems, and small issues before they turn into bigger failures. It also helps your system run steadier during the hottest and coldest times of year.

Ductwork, Airflow, & Systems We Service
Not sure if you need a repair, a tune up, or something bigger? Here are a few common questions we get. If you want more detail, you can view the full FAQ page.
Do you repair or replace ductwork?
Yes. We repair ducts when a targeted fix will solve the airflow issue, and we replace ducts when sections are damaged, leaking badly, or falling apart. After we inspect the ductwork, we’ll recommend the option that makes the most sense for comfort and airflow.
Do you offer duct cleaning?
No. We do not offer duct cleaning. Our ductwork work is focused on repairs and replacements that help fix airflow and comfort problems. If you need cleaning, we can still handle the HVAC side and duct condition issues.
How do I know if ductwork is causing comfort issues?
Common signs are weak airflow at certain vents, rooms that stay hotter or colder than the rest, and a system that runs longer than normal. You may also notice rattling or whistling from vents. We can test airflow and check the ductwork to confirm.
Do you work on heat pumps and ductless mini splits?
Yes. We service heat pumps and ductless mini split systems for homes and businesses, including troubleshooting, repairs, and tune ups. If the system is older or has major issues, we can also recommend replacement options after we inspect it.
Do you work on furnaces and central AC systems?
Yes. We service furnaces and central AC systems, including diagnosing problems, completing repairs, and handling routine maintenance. If replacement is the better long term move, we’ll walk you through the options after we test the system.
